Uh, wow. Totally didn't see this one coming. The caveat I started with in my review of book one in the series still applies - this book isn't for the faint of heart. Or weak of stomach.
But it was quite a trip! I don't know what I can say without giving too much away. I need to go get book three, because I'm dying to find out what happens. Which isn't to say that The Renfield Syndrome is a cliff-hanger, because it's not. It does leave a number of loose ends, though. Can Rhiannon forgive Disco/Gabriel? What will happen with Paine? Will she find the body of the fallen angel and fulfill the bargain she made? Stay tuned to find out!
