This is very well-written, and I can see why it's hugely popular. It's just not my thing - too many adolescent boys behaving stupidly, and nobody telling anybody what's going on because for some reason it's important that they don't realize why they're in danger/important/worth rescuing/etc. I did enjoy spending time in the world, though, which is why it gets 2 maple leaves instead of 1 despite the fact that I wasn't compelled to actually finish the book.
