This series just keeps getting better! I'll admit, after the first book (Cast in Shadow) I wasn't that driven to continue the series, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. Kaylin has grown so much, though she remains very much Kaylin. And we keep being introduced to new layers of a richly imagined Elantran world - this time the mysterious Thala'anni with their mind reading head tentacles and the role of the 4 elements.
