My favourite thing about this book? How things ended between Gin and Donovan. This item alone has put Web of Lies to 4 maple leaves instead of 3. Donovan actually walked away! There was no miraculous "I'll completely change who I am and everything that I stand for because I need to get into your pants" moment. And Gin's new potential love interest? Intriguing...
Otherwise, it's simply a good read. A couple of annoying things - Ms. Estep tends to repeat a lot of the basic world-building info and back story in excess, for example. I suppose it may be helpful if it's been a while since you read the last book, but I ended up doing a lot of skimming.
