I'm really enjoying this series, except for the increasingly annoying recaps of the world explanations and character backgrounds. This is the third book - if you can't remember who Fletcher is or what he meant to Gin, or you don't know what an Elemental is, go back and read the first two books because you obviously haven't. Even within the book, there's a lot of descriptive repetition. Owen was described in full at least twice. Seriously - how many times do we need to be told that his scar makes him look roguish rather than deformed?
