Oh my gosh. My heart is broken, and I can't even tell you why or it will ruin the book for you. I don't even know what to say to review this book. I really, really hope that Cal and Nik eventually get a happy-ish ever after, because I don't know how much more they can take. Or rather, how much I can take on their behalf.
Having said all that, Roadkill was an excellent read. Heart-wrenching, but excellent. I enjoyed the forays in to Catcher's POV, and Robin's mummy cat is too funny. As always, Ms. Thurman balances the tension of the plot's imminent catastrophe with sharp humour and characters so vibrant they leap off the page.
