I really enjoyed Dark Currents - an original concept, executed with talent and an attention to detail that made the world and the characters that inhabit it a pleasure to spend time with. It's a little dark at times, and the ubiquitous love triangle makes another appearance, but I love the focus on the less traditional supernatural elements, like the fae and the ghouls.
