(Book #3 of The League series)
Rating: 🍁🍁
This felt like filler. We are introduced to the next generation (the children of Syn/Shahara and Nykkarian/Kiara), which is enjoyable. However, I don't understand why so many of them work for the League. Weren't their parents kind of anti-League?
I also find the relationship between Devyn and Alix completely implausible. I don't care how respectful/caring/etc. Devyn is, if Alix truly has no respect for herself (which is repeatedly asserted throughout), there is no way she'd be able to form a healthy relationship with anyone.
