I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of Dresden short stories. Jim Butcher is one of the few authors I've read who is able to consistently turn out good short stories - they provide neither too much nor too little backstory. Of course, I'm sure it helps to already have a body of work that supports the world you're writing about.

Something I particularly enjoyed was the chance to see Harry's world from someone else's perspective. Both Thomas and Murphy have a story, though I found Murphy's voice to be much less convincing than it could have been. Still, enjoyable!

One caveat: Don't read the last story in the compilation if you haven't read Changes. HUGE spoiler alert!
