I just inhaled the first five books in this series over a two-week period. Holy crap, what a ride! I love the character development we see with both Jill and her closest companions. I also enjoy the hell out of her relationships with Saul and Perry, as well as the various police officers she works with. They're not static, they're real and they're so very interesting. Everything I said in my review of Night Shift is still applicable in terms of what's good and what's not-so-good.

Be forewarned, though. You will need the next book in the series IMMEDIATELY after finishing this one. In fact, don't start this until you have it right there next to you. Just sayin'.
